Gaining Wealth in Runescape

Gaining incredible weath doesn’t take much effort on Runescape, but it does take a little bit of common sense. Here are the basic keys to attaining wealth in Runescape:
Selling raw materials gathered by skill building
For example, regular logs, the kind you can chop down with level 1 woodchopping experience, can be sold to other players for 25-100 gold per log! Tin and copper, which can be mined at very low mining levels, can be sold for 25-50 gold per ore. Even feathers can be sold for 2-5 gold per feather!
Killing Isn’t Everything
I’m continually surprised by the high level players who ask me for FREE food or equipment. They’ve obviously played their character very lop-sidedly and cannot support themselves, or are simply too lazy to do so. Realize that there really IS no goal to this game, and take your time advancing player levels by advancing skill levels in between so you can support yourself.
Fish Are Good Food
I personally found fishing to be a lot of fun, and very rewarding in terms of advancements if I combined it with cooking and firemaking by cooking my fish on the shore immediately after filling my inventory. Use your own fish for healing when you go out exploring and fighting, and as your fishing skills improve, you will be able to sell more of the fish, etc, on the market to other players and make good money in the process. Lobsters are especially sought after, far and wide.
Put In The Effort Now, Reap The Rewards Later
Mining is a very lucrative skill to spend time working on. Not only can you sell the ores to other players by advertising at the banks, but you can use the ores yourself to create metal bars and eventually metal armor and weaponry. And while bronze armors and weapons don’t sell well at the stores or with other players, mithril and adamantite sure do!
Sell Bulk To Players, But Sell Slowly To Shops
The shops in Runescape are all set to pay LESS for things they already have in stock, so the more you sell one thing to one shop, the less you get for each item. You’re better to “world-hop” - switch servers you’re logged into when you’re doing your sell runs - sell 5-10 of each armor/weapon in each world, and you’ll get a lot more cash for your efforts.
Players, on the other hand, tend to like to buy in bulk. Be sure you have 100 or more ores, logs or bones before you expect to sell anything.

woodcutting is very valuable in runescape. Thats how i earn 80% of my money, not only should you cut regularlogs but you can sell maples oaks and willows and yews very genoursly. i get 300 for my yews 200 for my maples 95 for my willows 50 for my oaks and 65 for my regular. I should know =\ my woodcutting is 67

This is only whene you are a member
when you become a member go to seers village and start collecting flax, then spin it in a house near by to make bow strings then, do that till you have 100 then sell it for 10 or 15k if your lucky.
i did this and i earned 100k in a hour.

marketing is when u buy something cheap and sell it for a little more
for example, i bought a guthix helm for 310k and turned around and sold it for 340k and 1000 air runes!

i know a way to get 40k an hour just mine rune ess people but rune ess for 25-40 coins i got 500k in about 2-3 weeks

o and also for the fishing, not only do u gain lvls, money, and food, if u fish in karamja nonmembers, there are lots of random events.
I make my money by fishing. I go to karamja, fish for lobsters, then cut some trees, make a fire, and cook. I gain fishing xp, firemaking, woodcutting, and cooking. Doing this I’ve ended up with 57 fishing, 51 cooking, 67 woodcutting (i wc extra), and 41 firemaking (i use other players’ fires too lol). When i get about 500 lobsters, I keep around 100, sell the 400, and use the ones i kept for pking or training

Woodcutting is how i earn 70% of my wealth in RuneScape. Where as, the other 30% is Fishing.
1k Regular Logs= 25k to 50k
1k Willow Logs= 25k to 30k
1k Yew Logs= 350k to 360k
1k Magic Logs= 1m
1k Trout= 40k to 60k
1k Salmon= 70k to 90k
1k Lobster= 200k to 300k
1k Swordfish= 400k to 500k
For all the New Players out there, killing chickens can raise your combat and give you money. The feathers sell for alot to fishers in Lumbridge & The Barbarian Village.

just saying that you should try to round out all your skills easily, and when u have around 1mil, and if ur a member, try this, go on the forums and buy low /sell high, get millions a day and keep one rule… dont ever let yourself go below 1mil , a good way to get to 1mil is cutting yews wich sell for around 500 each or magic trees that sell 1k ea
